Come one... Come all... Safety Day is just around the corner!!!

Saturday March 13th officially marks the beginning of the skydiving season! Since many of you have been either forcibly grounded (weather this time of year SUCKS!) or are just too big of a pansy to jump in the cold, now is the time to come get your wings back! Fly Free Skydiving will providing you all the great refreshers and tips you need to knock the rust off and get in the air. The game plan is as follows…

We will start at 9am at the DZ… the coffee pot will be brewing and word on the street is there may just be some donuts for breakfast.

If the weather is jumpable, we will put up loads of jumpers between the refreshers. If the weather is not jumpable, we will make the best of the day by getting ready for a safe and fun season ahead!

We will have pilots, instructors, and experienced jumpers helping with the ground refreshers covering several topics including but not limited to…
- Plane Safety
- Equipment & Gear
- Freefall & Opening Safety
- Canopy Control
- Emergency Procedures

Calling all new jumpers – you NEED to come out to Safety Day! There are a good number of you that are no longer current by USPA standards and need a refresher course in order to get back in the air. This one is free and guaranteed to be fun – you should be there to take advantage of it! Johnny, Kyle, Jen, Ted, Paul, William, Pete, Mike just to name a few….. This is a great time for you to get back in the saddle!

All of our wonderful pilots and instructors will be joining us – they make great question-answer-ers and this is a good chance for everyone to met Van and get acquainted with his Cessna 206 which we will be flying this summer.

So long as the weather holds, we plan to pull out the grill and make a day of it. BYOB, and perhaps a side dish or something extra to throw on the grill! It’s been way too long since we’ve had a good cook out at the DZ – let’s make it happen folks!

It’s not too late for suggestions either – if anyone has something they want us to go over – let me know ASAP. Any questions, feel free to post, call, email – whatever it takes…

Can’t wait to see you all March 13th!!

Blues,
Ashes

Hey Johnny...

Everyone will still be out for safety day... Although I would rather have got some jumps in on safety day, at least now while we are learning and going voer things we won't be looking up at the sky waiting to jump! Okay, we still may do that, but you get what I'm saying.

I'm headed to the DZ in just a few minutes... Hope to see you there!

Ash
